French 19th Century Diamonds 18 Karat Rose Gold Locket Pendant

Pendant in 18 karat rose gold, eagle head hallmark.
Important antique medallion, of rhombic form it is decorated in application of a stylized vegetable pattern decorated with rose- cut diamonds. The border is openwork with arabesque pattern. This antique rose gold pendant opens with a hinge on the side and reveals in its center two spaces separated by a glass ring with gold to accommodate a lock of hair as a souvenir. The clasp is also set with a line of 4 rose-cut diamonds and held in the pendant by chased gold arabesques. The back is smooth.
Total weight of diamonds : 0.60 carat approximately.
Height : 6,6 cm approximately, width : 3 cm approximately, thickness : 10,8 mm approximately.
Total weight of the jewel : 20,4 g approximately.
Authentic antique jewel - French work of the second half of the XIXth century.
