French 19th Century Antique Cameo 18 Karat Rose Gold Diamond Pendant Brooch

Brooch-pendant in 18 karats rose gold, owl hallmark and silver with a swan hallmark.
Of exceptional quality, this vintage convertible piece is crafted in rose gold and silver. It is decorated with a delicate openwork design and adorned with small rose-cut diamonds. The border is embellished with a beaded pattern, and the centre is a cameo on agate adorned at the four cardinal points with small fleur-de-lis motifs in rose gold. A wide oval ring forms the pendant bail, which is removable via a screw mechanism. A pin with a safety clasp also allows this antique piece to be worn as a brooch; the pin can be removed via a screw thread, and the clasp can be folded down.
Height: 5.7 cm approximately, width: 3.8 cm approximately, thickness: 12 mm approximately.
Total weight of the jewel: 17.6 g approximately.
