French 19th Century Diamonds 18 Karat Yellow Gold Dressed Enamel Brooch

Brooch in 18 karat yellow gold, eagle head hallmark.
Splendid round shape brooch, it is enamelled of a character topped with a helmet and whose departure of the dress is set with a line of 4 rose- cut diamonds. The attachment system is a pin with hook.
Diameter of the brooch : 2,6 mm approximately, thickness : 3 mm approximately.
Total weight of the jewel : 6,7 g approximately.
Authentic antique jewel - French work from the end of the 19th century. Small mark with white enamel on top of the helmet, very little visible.
Our opinion : the enameling is of great finesse taking up the movements of the hair, the skin grain, the expressions of the face. The clothes and the helmet are also made with a lot of effect of material and colors.
