French 1920s Natural Ceylon Sapphire Diamonds 18 Karat Yellow Gold Brooch

Brooch in 18 karat yellow gold, eagle head hallmark and platinum.
Important antique barrette brooch, it is decorated in the center of an oval sapphire millegrain closed set, shouldered on both sides of a fall of 2x14 antique brilliant- cut diamonds set on platinum. The attachment system is a pin with pump and safety.
Total weight of the sapphire : 5,27 carats. Natural sapphire not treated not heated, certified by laboratory and originating from Ceylon.
Total weight of diamonds : 1,90 carat approximately.
Length : 9,6 cm approximately, width : 11,2 mm approximately, thickness : 6,7 mm approximately.
Total weight of the jewel : 10,7 g approximately.
