Presenting a flat and openwork setting at the level of its basket this magnificent antique ring is decorated, in closed setting millegrain, of an Australian noble opal, in a surrounding of rose- cut diamonds.
Weight of the opal : 9.70 carats approximately.
Height : 19.9 mm, width : 16.7 mm, thickness : 4.8 mm approximately, width of the ring at the base : 2.1 mm approximately.

The history of this jewel : this antique ring was the result of a long restoration, it came to us with its opal broken. We had to cut a custom opal of the finest quality to give it back its letters of nobility.
