French 20th Century Enamel Clasp 18 Karat Yellow Gold Jaseron Mesh Necklace

Necklace in 18 karat yellow gold, eagle head hallmark.
This elegant yellow gold antique chain features a jaseron chain, held at each end by a rectangular ratchet clasp. One side of the clasp is adorned with delicately chased pansy flowers enameled in green, white and blue, while the other side features pansy flowers, a smooth gold escutcheon and a chased border, all enameled in blue and green.
Length : 41 cm approximately, thickness of the chain : 2 mm approximately, height of the clasp : 1,4 cm approximately, width : 2,3 cm approximately, thickness : 2,5 mm approximately.
Total weight of the jewel : 4,2 g approximately.
Authentic antique jewel - French work of the early XXth century. Lack of enamel and slight traces of restoration on the chain, good overall condition.
Our opinion : This lovely antique necklace can be worn with the clasp on the front, on either side, or on the nape of the neck, as you wish.
