French 1960s Garnet 18 Karat Yellow Gold Medallion

Pendant in 18 karat yellow gold pendant, eagle head hallmark.
An oval-shaped antique pendant with a small hinge on the back to accommodate a keepsake. The back is smooth and the front is engraved, decorated with pearls and applied with an arabesque motif. The antique medallion is edged with alternating small gold lozenges and round garnets held in claws at the center of a small gold cord. The bail is made of 3 gold wires that meet at the base.
Pendant sold alone without its chain of presentation.
Height : 4.8 cm approximately, width : 3.3 cm approximately, thickness : 8.7 mm approximately.
Total weight of the jewel : 13,2 g approximately.
