1950s Baroque Pearl Sapphires Rubies Yellow Gold Butterfly Articulated Brooch

Brooch in 14 karat yellow gold, shell hallmark.
Important brooch in the shape of an insect, the bottom of the body is represented by a baroque pearl, the top and the head are paved with rose-cut diamonds. The eyes are rubies, the four openwork wings are adorned with rose-cut diamonds, punctuated with rubies and sapphires. The hanging system is a pin with safety hook. The four mobile wings are articulated at the base.
